Worldwide Universities Network
Utrecht University is joined with the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN). WUN is an international alliance of leading higher-education institutions and:
• builds on its partners’ commitment to research quality and innovation in order to develop collaborations in interdisciplinary areas of global significance
• provides support for student and staff exchange, both within the alliance and with corporate partners. In addition, the partners are working together to deliver graduate-level distributed learning
• will enhance student choice and pedagogical effectiveness by sharing learning materials, pooling expertise and developing frameworks for quality assurance and accreditation

The Gender Studies programme is especially affiliated with the International Network in Colonial and Postcolonial Studies, which promotes and encourages collaborative research and teaching activity in the field of colonial and postcolonial studies between members of the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN).
The Gender Studies programme is also affiliated with the Gender Studies Global Network. This network brings together research institutions from around the world that specialise in gender studies. The consortium aims to promote a global research culture through collaborative academic activity, encourage gender-related teaching and research, and cultivate a dynamic mobility programme for postgraduate students and academic faculty between partner institutions.
